The European Commission’s Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan aims to ‘reignite the entrepreneurial spirit in Europe’ through a range of support actions during the period 2014-2020.

It is based on three pillars: developing entrepreneurial education and training; creating the right business environment; role models and reaching out to specific groups. Section 4.2.1 sets out actions specifically aimed at women entrepreneurs.
