WomenNet brings together journalists and media sources interested in gender issues in a bid to promote women’s rights and gender equality in Armenia. The organisation’s goals include overcoming gender bias in Armenian society and fostering the advancement of women in political, economic and social life. The website is a source of articles and information on gender equality and women’s rights, but a print version newspaper entitled ‘Women and Politics’ is also published, which focuses on the policy framework for gender-related issues such as reproductive health, peacebuilding, women and children against violence, disabled women, rural women and more.
