The Marisa Bellisario Foundation started with the organisation of the Marisa Bellisario Award and it has since extended its reach to include the research and planning of events and interventions addressing women’s entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on new technologies. The Foundation supports women entrepreneurs in the public and the private sectors and it promotes gender equality. Besides representing women’s interests in policymaking and at political institutions, it produces studies and conducts research in the fields of communication, economics, finance, social commitment and corporate social responsibility.
