A joint initiative between HELEX and the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), HCGC embodies their recognition of the importance of corporate governance. The Council aims to ensure that Greek companies both understand and abide by the Hellenic Corporate Governance Code by monitoring and evaluating its implementation and adopting recommendations based on these.
The Council will also support and train Greek companies in understanding and implementing the Code. Finally, the HCGC will also continue to adapt the Code to ensure it stays relevant to the current situation on international and Greek markets.
