SEGE is an association with a Pan-Hellenic non-profit nature and regards women engaged in business activities in Greece. Was founded in 1997 in Thessaloniki - Greece and is governed by a 9-member Board of Directors.
SEGE provides to women entrepreneurs the environment to develop their businesses and themselves. Promotes youth entrepreneurship, improves recognition of their achievements and supports the growth of women-owned businesses through research and information. Furthermore, SEGE promotes ethics and morality in female entrepreneurship, while taking initiatives that demonstrate a sense of social responsibility.
SEGE is a founding member of Balkan Women Coalition (B-WCo) and a member of Association of Organizations of Mediterranean Businesswomen (AFAEMME), WeConnectInternational, the European Network of Female Entrepreneurship Ambassadors and the European Gateway for Women’s Entrepreneurship - WEgate. SEGE, also, collaborates with ministries, social partners, business associations and NGOs at local and European level to promote the interests of women engaged in business.
