Established in 1996, the Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN) advocates on behalf of Kosovan women at the local, national and international level. It represents 106 different women’s groups from across the region, working with them on both a formal and informal basis to increase women’s participation in decision-making, improve women’s health, empower them economically, and to put an end to domestic violence and trafficking. KWN administers the Kosovo Women’s Fund which allocates small amounts of funding for projects in Kosovo.
