New project aims to fund women entrepreneurs

31 May, 2018

The new project WE GROW offers free of charge mentoring and advisory services to women entrepreneurs to prepare a strong and competitive application for EU R&D funds.

When establishing and running a business, women face a lot of difficulties, mainly in access to finance, training, networking, and reconciling business and family.

WE GROW is a new project tackling this problem. The objective of the project is to stimulate female participation and increase female success in EU funding for research, development and innovation.

More specifically, WE GROW supports women entrepreneurs based in Belgium, Greece, Croatia and Sweden through awareness raising for support programmes and funding opportunities, and direct support and mentoring when applying for the H2020 SME Instrument.

Female entrepreneurs who have founded/co-founded an innovative project or company can apply for this funding. All they need to do is fill in a short survey.

Those who are not entrepreneurs but are active in this area can become a WE GROW stakeholder.
