The International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW International) is one of the most influential networks of professional women in the world, with affiliates in 95 countries in five continents. Its members include business owners, entrepreneurs, women leaders, executives and young professionals. BPW has consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and participatory status with the Council of Europe. The Federation runs projects around the world that enable women to sustain themselves economically. They train women to start their own businesses or a new profession, enter and re-enter the jobs market, protect their rights and overcome limitations.
