Doing business in Japan

If you want to enter the market or expand within Japan, there are several websites that assist you with a vast array of tools and information. The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial cooperation encourages exchanges of experience and know-how between European Union (EU) and Japanese businesses to improve their competitiveness and cooperation. The EU-Japan Centre launched Step in Japan, a free logistic support initiative for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) wanting to do business in Japan.

The EU Business in Japan website covers every aspect of doing business in or with Japan and includes sector-specific information as well. It lists support services and training programmes from the centre itself, organisations or experts. The committees of the European Business Council in Japan (EBC) identify the issues that keep the companies from realising their full potential and use EBC’s lobbying tools to improve the trade and investment climate.

These websites are available in English
