Future Enterprise, funded by the European Commission, supports and coordinates research on the future of the internet from a business perspective. Together with universities, research institutes and entrepreneurs, Future Enterprise aims to boost digital innovation across the EU. The organisation has published a free, four-week online course (MOOC) entitled “New forms of enterprise”. This is a practical guide to designing and running a digital business, and includes modules on devising a business model, raising funds, copyright and growing a venture. Participants need to dedicate around three hours a week to study.
