In the South of Italy, where the most beautiful landscapes are located, the population, especially women, are struggling to find and secure jobs and businesses. This is why, thanks to the determination of the consultant Francesca Vitelli and her associates, EnterprisinGirls was created. It is a network of associates, institutions and stakeholder that support women, help build their self-confidence and create more opportunities for them. The working team behind EnterprisinGirls strives to meet the needs of the individuals through the organization of broad networking events. Through these activities, women can create relations and share knowledge from different territories. In this framework, they organize seminars and meetings, guided tours of the beautiful scenery and monuments, paths within firms, gastronomic and cultural experiences. These events promote excellence in Italy and abroad through the creation of thematic professional paths that go hand-in-hand with cultural value.
EnterprisinGirls organizes competitions and initiatives to promote talent and to overcome the mindset of gender stereotypes, such as the EnterprisinGirls Award, an event intended to inspire new generations by rewarding women who have chosen a job considered as male, women who have chosen to wear a uniform, women who have chosen to follow their passion and talent. Because there are no jobs for men and women, everyone can choose who to become by committing themselves. Women focus mostly on small businesses, which do not have enough resources for strategic development but stand for a large portion of the economy. To build a good network it is necessary to create a group of people who believe in the same goals and want to work together, study the real needs of people, enterprises and territory. Additionally, it is important to invest a lot of time, energy and resources and first of all to have the professional competence to manage the network, but at the same time to have a positive attitude towards creating relations with different people, companies and organizations.
Networking is today’s future! This is the way. Women have to learn to work together.
