WES is a European policy network representing women’s interests in business and entrepreneurship. Its members are from 31 European countries (28 Member States and Iceland, Norway and Turkey) and represent national governments and institutions. It promotes and supports entrepreneurship by women at the national level. WES members provide advice, support and information on existing support measures for women entrepreneurs, and they help to identify good practices and contacts.
Between 2004 and 2012, WES produced eight reports, which provide information on activities that were carried out by national or regional governments to promote women’s entrepreneurship. Each report contains statistics and identifies good practices for each country.
