CIG, the Commission for citizenship and gender equality, aims to ensure that public policies related to gender equality are implemented in order to eliminate gender-based discrimination. They focus particularly on citizenship and gender equality, domestic violence and human trafficking. Occasionally, they organise seminars or events related to women’s entrepreneurship, like they did in January when they organised a seminar entitled “Entrepreneurship and Responsible Business Organization: Tackling Inequalities in favour of sustainable development”.

They also provide technical and financial assistance to non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that promote equal opportunities for women and men.
