According to European Union (EU) law (Racial Equality Directive 2000/43), all EU countries are required to designate ‘National Equality Bodies’ for the promotion of equal treatment. Thus, if you feel discriminated against on grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation or gender, you may contact the relevant body in your country.
The National Equality Bodies also conduct surveys and studies and publish independent reports and recommendations.
The websites are available in at least English, French and German if not all official EU languages
